The best thing about Sean Tillmann, aside from his Ron Jeremy-esque
good looks, is his versatility. Not only is he Har Mar Superstar, the
R&B wunderkind who has written songs for The Cheetah Girls, Kelly
Osborne, and J-Lo, he’s also Sean Na Na, the sensitive pop star and
Calvin Krime, the loud punk rockster. You may also know him as Disco Rick, from 2004’s “Starsky and Hutch” (“It’s Disco Vietnam!).”
In all three incarnations, Tilmann’s songwriting is solid with a
penchant for upbeat melodies and darkly humorous lyrics. If you’ve not
been living under a rock, you’ve probably heard Har Mar Superstar’s
recent hit “Tall Boy.” Originally penned for Britney Spears, the song
takes on a whole new meaning when sung by Har Mar – without changing a
single lyric, he effortlessly replaces the need for some hot sex with
his craving for a 16-ouncer of beer. And who doesn’t love that?
